For those new to yoga, it is a wonderful introduction to one of the fastest growing holistic practices around the world. For those that already practice yoga, SUP Yoga is designed to complement and enhance your existing yoga practice. Instead of a yoga mat in a studio environment, you will practice on a Stand Up Paddleboard surrounded by water.
What to Expect?
You will develop increased balance, core strength, concentration, stamina and confidence. Expect to have FUN! This class will offer a series of warm-up poses to gain confidence on the board, move into some kneeling, standing and balancing poses to challenge balance and build core strength, and finally back down to the board for stretching and relaxation poses to calm the body and mind. After the SUP Yoga class, free time is available to play with some of the more advanced poses or to refine some of the poses you worked on during class. The time is yours!

Prerequisites: No sup experience required but SUP Intro class is recommended
Age: 16 years and older
Class length: 1 hour
Classes: This is a standalone class; students need only take one session but are welcome to take it multiple times. The instructor walks you through modifications to the Yoga poses to increase intensity as skills improve.
Class cost: $20 + HST per person, per single session/date
